The Great Greenwood used to be a merry place filled with parties you'll never forget and people you'll always remember. King Thranduil and his lovely wife Queen Elodiel ruled the land with their kin dancing until the ends of the forest even the beautiful elven path that leads to their kingdom was filled with much beauty. but now Thranduil sat on his Throne with an empty throne next to him. The gates were shut and his cold heart was broken. He sat there emotionless listening to the cries of his people as they weep and the sorrow that lingered through the whole kingdom. Thranduil gripped the sides of his throne trying to not think of that day, the day his world came falling apart the day he lost everything. Read as Thranduil tries to get over his only love or can he? Will he find a new love? Or will he succumb to his aching heart? Anne was just a girl with one minor magical ability, who went on one adventure too many. Now she is a newly appointed queen and she hates her new life. When she accidentally falls into a portal and wakes up in Middle Earth, there is no end to her joy... until Orcs come. She is rescued by Thorin and his companions and decides to travel with them, thinking it might be fun. But when they venture into Mirkwood, everything changes, and nothing will ever be the same again for both Anne and Thranduil.

She needs Thranduil by her side more than ever, but when Annoneth is unsuccessful in locating him, Rhovanel starts to lose all hope of her king's return. Thorin Oakenshield and Co. show up in Mirkwood. But after being arrested, the sassy Elvenking and his son have a few words for them.

Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you. If you've already read it once and just felt like you had to read it again, maybe it will provide some new enjoyment. Who knows? Maybe I'll actually finish some other stuff I have on here.

A beautiful creature with the power over ice, snow and winter is supposed to be extinct, but appears suddenly in mirkwood forest without explanation and causes all hell to break loose! There will be adventure, fantasy, humour and of course romance between our icy female and a certain elvish king! Please do not steal my idea as a lot of planning and time went into this character! The adventure with helke and the king of Mirkwood continues as helke is brought into a new era of dragons, hobbits and dwarves. Helke will have to think quickly as she is faced with the notion of war and loosing both thranduil and her friend legolas!
