I want to write about myself. It can be hard to bottle up some things, so I feel like letting them out through something. Something that's a rough representative of all things me. A special thing that screams out loud, who I really am. My identity. My ways of thinking. My inner conflicts. My outer achievements. Things that happen 'in my real life'. I don't want to sound too grand or too special. I don't want to sound too simple and too similar to everyone else. I want to be me. I want to be unique. Because we all are. We are separate individuals with our own stories to tell. And this story, shall be mine.

There really wasn't any stopping it. It wasn't my fault that my skin was as dark as the night, or my nose was broader than any other's, my hair was always rough looking and broke easily. There was nothing I could do, because to them I will and always will be, the black girl. HR: #3 Short Story Graphic by caesium-

I like to write poems sometimes. I actually lead a pretty happy life but like to write poetry that is more on the sad/depressing side.
