Emma and Regina were a couple that met in college. They fell in love and got matching tattoos. They planned there life together but something bad happens. Emma saw Regina kissing someone else and didn't believe her when she said it wasn't her fault. Emma left Regina and moved away from her. Emma turned up in storybrook 10 years later because she is still in love with Regina. She does everything she can to win Regina back because she had finally realised her biggest mistake.

Emma Swan is a sixteen year old girl who has never really fit in. She's been in and out of foster are her whole life, and it wasn't until two months ago that she actually got accepted by a decent family. She has had trouble her whole life making, keeping, and opening up to friends- let alone anyone. She develops this inner war with herself as she gains feelings for her that go way beyond a student teacher relationship. One she believes that someone like Regina could not feel the same, she is damn near perfect, and for two she knows nothing can come of it because she is her teacher after all.
