Vivian Sorrengail was forged for war, sharpened by cruelty, tempered in blood. Her destiny was written in the clash of swords and the blood that stains her hands, a legacy of obedience wrapped in violence. But prophecy doesn't bow to kings, and fate doesn't care for loyalty. When ancient powers stir and enemies bleed from the shadows, Vivian will have to decide what kind of monster they turned her into - and whether she'll burn their kingdom down before it can bury her first. ⸻ "You are a weapon, a servant of Navarre." "I am whoever I choose to be. A monster or savior. A damn reckoning. You're going to regret ever crossing me."

Waverly Rhodes arrived at Basgiath War College with a dead girl's name, enough daggers to supply a whole riot, and an agenda. Her plan, like most things in her life, took a turn for the worse. She didn't account for a unique threshing. She didn't account for Rome Zaher, who studies her like she's the problem, and who's seen her at her worst and filed it away without a word. She didn't account for Xaden Riorson, who has no reason to know she exists and knows anyway, pulled by something neither of them has language for yet. Waverly certainly didn't account for both of them. At 20, Rhodes has survived more than most will in a lifetime. Her mother. A venin attack. A commander who had a special way of taking care of loose ends. The sparring rings of Calldyr City. She has burned through worse than a war college and two men who can't decide whether they want to argue with her or... well. The dragons have already decided. The riders are taking longer. Between classes that could kill her, a squad she didn't plan on caring about, and new knowledge about her mother that's beginning to confuse, not clarify. Waverly Rhodes is running out of room to keep everyone at arm's length. Especially the ones who stopped being fooled by her somewhere around day one. Some bonds aren't chosen. Some fires can't be controlled. Some secrets don't stay buried.

There are stories about heroes. This is the story of the beautiful disaster worlds fell in love with. Juniper Vale only wanted a family, maybe a dragon, and somewhere to belong. Instead, Basgiath gives her Xaden Riorson, a dangerous power, and seams that tear her into a world of war colleges, starlit courts, and winged warriors. Now monsters are rising, kingdoms are falling, and the truth in her blood may be the only thing holding both worlds together. Juniper thought she was lost between stories. She was wrong. She is the seam connecting them.

***** ON HIATUS **** I died. Or at least... I think I did. One minute I was drowning at the bottom of a lake, the next I'm standing at the edge of Basgiath War College's infamous parapet, armed to the teeth and dressed like a dragon rider. In a world I only know from books. This has to be a hallucination. My brain's final flicker before the lights go out. Right? But the pain is real. The wind. The blood. The impossible heat of a dragon's breath across my skin. And when Xaden Riorson's bonded dragon starts paying attention to me-twice-I realize something is very, very wrong. I've read Fourth Wing. I know what's supposed to happen. But with every step I take, canon bends, and I'm not sure if I'm here for a reason... or if I'm just the next to die. All I know is: I've already lost everything. So what's stopping me from being bold? Even if this is just a dying dream... I'm not going quietly. Xaden Riorson x Fem OC

FOURTH WING AU | XADEN RIORSON × Fem OC Lilia Sorrengail has spent most of her life becoming exactly what everyone expects her to be. A rider. A weapon. A daughter worthy of the Sorrengail name. By the time she reaches Basgiath, she already knows how to hide pain, follow orders without appearing obedient, and survive beneath the weight of expectations that were never hers to choose. What no one knows is that Lilia did not enter the Riders Quadrant for honour, glory, or the chance to wear black. She came looking for answers. Then Violet is forced onto the parapet beside her, and Lilia's carefully laid plans begin to fracture. Survival is no longer only about making it through the next trial. It is about keeping her sister alive, guarding truths that cannot be spoken, and making certain no one looks closely enough to realise how much she already knows. Especially Xaden Riorson. He has every reason to hate her name, every reason to distrust her motives, and far too much power to ignore. To Xaden, Lilia should be easy to understand: the general's daughter, a trained rider, and another Sorrengail standing on the wrong side of an old war. Little does he know, Lilia has a few carefully guarded secrets of her own. At Basgiath, dragons judge more than strength. Enemies are not always who they appear to be. And some truths are dangerous enough to change everything. The closer Lilia gets to Xaden, the harder it becomes to tell whether he is the greatest threat to her secrets - or the only person who might understand why she keeps them.
