His name was Castiel, and he was an Angel of The Lord. Annabelle had never felt safe, not even with Castiel. But, one day she got the visit that could change all that. Not only did she become more enlightened to her true self, but she became closer to Castiel. The oncoming war wasn't going to stop Annabelle from getting what she wanted, and she wanted Castiel. But, she had to win the battle, to win the angel.

As a cut off angel, it's hard to blend in with the normal crowd. However, Castiel is doing quite fine, outliving everyone else as a simple cashier at the local Gas 'n Sip. Sure, he may never understand humans, but it's a privilege to watch them go about their simple lives, while never progressing in his own.
