Sky stared at her, his own body littered with violet bruises that never seemed to fade. Not with the treatment he constantly endured. "Why...?" he asked, his voice barely even a whisper as he looked at her mother, bearing the cold glare that was beaming down at him. His fists clenched, tears brimming as the murmur of words blurred against his ears. He screamed, his eyes turning into a flash of gold as he charged forward, his fist connecting with his mothers ribs.

"Tell me, Max, please." Michael pleaded, it wasn't fair for him, he'd been through hell and back just to be friends with the guy. "Tell you what? That I love you?" Max retorted, yelling. Red's face turned a light hue of a light red, "yes . . ." - Michael, or better known as Red, has been put through hell with being Max's friend; it doesn't help when Max leaves for almost a week, leaving no connection for anybody to help him if he needed it. Another thing that doesn't help Michael, Max being suicidal. It isn't shown easily and it took forever for Red to find out. Max wasn't always like this, he used to be happy and upbeat, he acts like it, quite well actually. And it's Michael's job to help him find it once again. The question that is brought to Red's attention is: what happens when the one you loves happiness means more than your life? - A/N; oh admit it, we all need some RedZan in our lives :)
