Rose is a lost soul. Moving from one place to another after the death of her younger sister, the only person she's ever loved or cared about. Also, the only thing that had kept her sane. Dallas is a worrisome son for his mother, a currently part time waitress and struggling author. (Struggling meaning that she's never actually finished a book.) He gets kicked out of every school he attends, causing his mother and him to move around a lot. But when the paths of these two young and troubled teenagers gets crossed, something unexpected happens.
