Remus Lupin was convinced he was a monster, ever since he was bitten by Fenrir Greyback at a young age. The friendship of James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew was a miracle he had never expected, and didn't feel that he exactly deserved, especially after they became animagi to accompany him during his transformations. Calico Finley, a muggleborn witch and outsider, had clawed her way to feeling accepted at Hogwarts, but never felt it was home until befriending the Marauders. And even after, they're all hiding something, something about Remus, something that she's desperate to know as she grows closer to the scarred boy. The monster and the outsider find each other, and the result will prove to be a complete catastrophe. But disasters are beautiful before their tragic ends, something you can't look away from, until it's too late. ~~~ I do not own Harry Potter. JK Rowling does. While this is a fanfic, I still own the idea. Copyright for the Idea is subject to me, @moonymarauders . Copyright 2016 to @moonymarauders .

A one-shot showing, through snippets and explosions, the evolution of Sirius Black's love for Remus Lupin. oo*oo And Sirius Black had watched Remus Lupin live. He had seen his life in snippets and in full, blown out explosions. He had seen him as a scarred and nervous child, fading away on his first night at Hogwarts, and as a free-spirited boy, racing down hallway after hallway, his laughter peeling behind him. He had seen Remus as a werewolf, a self-proclaimed monster that was really no more monstrous than he, himself. He had seen him as a top student, as a prefect, as a Best Man, as a best friend, as a soldier. Sirius had seen Remus Lupin's stars and constellations, he had bared every inch of him and kissed every scar. He had watched him live the most extraordinary of extraordinary lives. And Sirius knew, that he was the most privileged human in the world for it.
