One by one, rumors of children born with unnatural abilities began to surface. Some were said to fly, others to see through things, and some even controlling an element or two. The children grew older as time went on, becoming teens, and adults, as more like them were born into our cruel, heartless world. The number of children with these abilities got smaller and smaller, until finally, one final child with them was born. The eldest of these children only reached the age of twenty-eight, before the government waged a war against them, killing every last one of them without reason. At least, that's what the world believed. Eventually though, more were born, but they kept their abilities a secret from everybody, knowing full well what would happen if one soul let it slip. They have to lay dormant as to not face the same fate as those before them had long ago. I doubt there are more than a few dozen, let alone the hundreds that came before us. There was really no way to know though. There was no way to draw them out after what had happened in the past...right? Wrong.
