A universe where everyone is assigned a certain soulmate from the red mark on their body. (A handprint, fingerprint, etc.) If a human touches another for the first time, and it perfectly aligns with that person's red mark, they are destined to be together. There is one catch, no one but that person can see their own red mark. They cannot see anyone else's. Love is based on the trust of whether or not one believes to have touched another's mark. Elysia Graves is a girl who attends a school called, Red Wood High in Pennsylvania. She believes that being independent is the best way to lead a successful life in being a writer. Because of that belief, she refuses to touch anyone or let anyone touch her. Of course, unless it is her life long best friend, Olive Kingsley. Elysia thinks she can pass through life without meeting her soulmate, but looking at that cerise hand print across her face starts to get troubling. Not only does that bother her, so does a certain bully, and notorious bad boy, Jaden Hall. He has picked on Elysia since he moved to the district back in the beginning of middle school. Jaden has an obsession with teasing her about her independence. He constantly tries to find a way to touch her, not because he's interested, because he knows it would bother her. Life is a game of Tag to Jaden, except he is always 'it', and the target is always Elysia. (This story is based off of a Tiktok POV AU created by Petitpeach)

I do not own any of the X-Men in any way; I only own the character Lucy. Most of my life I spent locked up in a room with my only company being my tormentors whom I'd only see whenever they needed me for some new experiment or when they thought I needed to be punished for whatever reason. Then one day my wish to be freed finally came true in the forms of Charles Xaviar and Erik Lensher. They took me out of my prison and took me with them to help them defeat Shaw along with other mutants like me. I went from a world of misery and despair to one of love and friendship. I learned that I am not alone in this world, this is my story of all the sorrows and challenges I went through in order to finally be free.

She was the only who could tame him. - "What is it dear? Do you want something else?" his mother asked, looking down to see his attention focused on something. Or rather, someone. Samuel Brandt woke up with his thoughts written all over his body. His brother woke up with his head missing. His sister woke up to find that her skin would crack open unless she stayed in water. All of the other children in the secluded Iowa town of Oak Knoll woke up having undergone strange transformations. Now, they are all forced to live at 407 West Marshall Street, the mysterious house outside of town. With the new name of The Boy with Words for Skin, Samuel wants nothing more than to hide from his new life. He painfully and unpredictably sheds his skin, there is a Voice in the entryway closet that is often cruel, and-perhaps worst of all for a naturally shy boy-the other children look to him as a leader. As his seven-year-old brother struggles with their new life, as terrifying growls start to come from the pitch black basement, and as his feelings for a girl begin to grow, The Boy with Words for Skin realizes that he wants to change. He wants to put others first, learn from his peers, and let himself hope that things will get better. The Boy with Words for Skin is the first book in the 407 West Marshall Street series. Each book will advance the story but be told from a different character. Book 2 will be The Girl without Eyes.
