Despite that, she stays guarded, however, just as they near their destination, she gets a deep sense of dread that makes her actually keep him around for a while longer on a whim, and being with this strange young man is inevitably what helps save her life. With him and those she meets at her side, they help guide her forward after she stumbles into a gruesome and bloody fate that forever changes her way of life. And with them, her new life in a complex, hidden world of supernatural beings, murder, betrayal, and love begins.
