"We called it zero o’clock. Because to us time wasn’t about the number, it was about the feeling. And zero o’clock was the feeling of not being able to sleep but at the same time not caring. It brought this weird ataraxia and for some reason we liked it." His name was Finn, and his biggest flaw was himself ...even though he would never admit. He used to kiss me on the my forehead and when he did his eyes would glow in ways most eyes shouldn't. This isn't a love story though. We were insomniacs, and the restless don't find love, they find sleep. So when I look at his empty chair in class, or realize I miss his kisses I tell myself he's sleeping, and pretend he's not gone. He wasn't noticed by girls. She wasn't noticed by guys. But because of the courage and determination used to step out of the crowd they were so used to emerging themselves in, they found each other. Even though they knew that they other was easily overlooked in the eyes of others, both discovered that from ordinary, even the plainest of Janes had the ability to become extraordinary.

There really was no hope for us in the end. We were doomed from the very first moment we met. We didn't trust each other. We couldn't trust each other. We built a friendship on lies and betrayal, and allowed it to fester into something far more toxic. So don't expect a fairytale ending from this - we never deserved to be happy. Cruella de Vil might have been cruel, manipulative and ambitious to a fault. But she was also pretty, resourceful, straightforward and most importantly herself. After her release from jail, (if you remember) she finds herself changed slightly; slightly good, slightly kind. This doesn’t bother her as much as the fact that she’s losing herself in the whirlwind of life somewhere and she’s not sure how much she likes it. She’s trying to find the correct balance between being herself (Cruella) and being good (Annabel) which leads to a thorough study of her feminity.

Or maybe, just maybe, it could all crumble because of a princess in torn lace.
