When you have faith in something and someone challenges it you have to make the choice to stand and fight or cower and run. Rubi is a girl with a secret. One that she's kept hidden for years. Her adoptive parents didn't even know about it. She felt it in her bones, the drumming of the earth. She didn't understand the limits to what her powers could do. Or what would change with her secret.

This is a story that originally started out as a role-playing game, so I had a bit of trouble putting it in words. It is based in a world with all kinds of creatures, from goblins to ogres to elemental mages. The main character live in a small elf village surrounded by a forest.

If you liked the Percy Jackson series, I would try this book.
