DESTIEL highschool AU Cas is a loner and has very little faith but hopefully something or someone good will come his way soon. Dean may seem popular, but life is tough and he's just getting by.

It's Dean and Castiel's last year of highschool. they've been in the same class since kindergarten. They know of each other's existence, but they never talk to each other. Until the first day of their senior year which a teacher pairs them together and they have no choice but to talk to each other. Fundraisers are hell, and a little girl is bullied in the cafeteria. Dean is a boxer and a football player. Cas works at a bookstore. How can they juggle school and everything else? How dramatic can one school year be???

On principle, Castiel never works with new and “up and coming” talent. But just this once, he decides to make an exception with Dean Winchester, who he ends up bending all his rules for.
