At Zero, they will experience true tranquility and feel at peace with themself. To help reach as close to Zero as possible, Spencer writes books, novelettes, poetry and more. By sharing their experiences as an agender person living with a mother who doesn't understand them (nor try to), they hope to inspire others and assure them they are not alone. When Spencer is given the opportunity to work with a publisher and publish their own book, they are determined to write a romance book proposal that no one will want to turn down. The only problem: none of their ideas are authentic enough. Since Spencer never felt the need to date before, their writing teacher encourages them to pursue romance to help inspire their book. While Spencer is determined to not date anyone, they are willing to give it a try for the sake of their writing. And when they find out their cute classmate seems to be interested in them, they decide to see where their blossoming relationship will go. After all, they're willing to do anything to reach Zero.
