The clock struck 12. Hope, a newly turned 18 year old is visited by Ramiel, the Angel of Hope. She is informed that it is her duty to take over the role as the new Angel of Hope and seek revenge from Metatron, the Angel of Life, who has crowned himself the king of heaven, God. She discovers that a faction, The Fallen Angels, had been created to overthrow Metatron and his tyrannous rule, led by an angel named Satanael.
