The second book (After Ever After) to (Behind Cinderella) is about the love between Sandy and Jay. It is also about how they went through life with the twins Raven and Jaysin as children through the pregnancy and all of life.

A girl named Sandy lives with her biological dad and sister when her father gets remarried. The step mom decides to have to kids and they are both girls. At first Sandy and her sister Rosie like there step mom but it doesn't last Sandy's sister moves out at 17 leaving her with the family she doesn't like much. She is the one to take care of her 5 and 2 year old half-sisters.
