Juniper and Troye were a rare case in today's society. Their parents had twins before they turned 16, before the choosing ceremony. When they chose different factions, it created a blip in the system. An exception to the rule. Juniper lives with their .om on the outskirts of the Erudite faction while Troye and their father live on the outskirts of the Candor faction. The only thing separating them is the raging river that runs through the open field between the factions. They've visited each other once a week for as long as they can remember. The whoel situation screamed bullshit at society's status quo. Faction before blood. The exception made for this family is supposed to be mentioned to no one and it wasn't.
