More than 60 million people are currently fleeing conflict or persecution around the world. Due to their race, religion or nationality, these people's homes are no longer safe places to live and their governments no longer provide them with protection. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) works around the world to provide refugees and internally displaced people (IDPs) with everything they need from psychological care to lifesaving nutrition. We set up hospitals in refugee camps, we help women give birth safely, we vaccinate children to prevent epidemics and we provide access to safe drinking water. Here, some of our teams share their stories.

As Rain meets the man of her dreams, literally, she wonders, is he here to seduce me? or to control me? *** "He thought I couldn't resist him, and it was obvious he believed that I thought him an angel, but I could see past his façade. I could see the darkness lurking beneath his skin, like vines wrapping around a victim, ready to pull them under. He was the complete opposite of an angel, a devil, if you will. But just as Lucifer was once an angel, so was he. A devil could lure you in; make the bad things you do feel oh, so good. There was no denying that the man in my dreams was evil, but he looked damn good doing it. *** Now Rain must fight for the little bit of humanity she has left and find a way to regain control of her life.
