The Doors of Death are closed, and the demigods can take comfort in the fact that the monsters will finally die and come back to life at a normal rate. The bad news? Gaea has risen and has taken over the body of Percy Jackson. With both their power combined, she deems unbeatable. Annabeth must step up and face her fears caused by Tartarus, her past, and the fact that her boyfriend is now trying to kill her. The demigods must travel back to Camp Half Blood to deliver the Athena Parthenos and stop a war between the Greeks and the Romans. Along the way, they will face many trials and a new prophecy is delivered. With Nico's classified information, there is a slim chance that the demigods can still save the world, but what happens when Annabeth is forced to make another impossible decision and a old enemy, now friend, returns? Piper, Leo, Hazel, Frank and Jason, along with Nico di Angelo, son of Hades, must travel to the House of Hades in Epirus, Greece, where they promise to meet Percy and Annabeth.
