[ON HOLD, EDITING] The alley has an eerie sense to it. It's long, dark and deserted, except for a few cardboard boxes strewn along the edges. The brownish red brick walls loom over me making dark shadows that look like they're trying to grab at my clothes. I notice, leaning against the wall, a magnificent mirror with a smooth silvery glass enrobed by a golden frame.
I enter the alley and walk up to the mirror, I stare into the looking glass. My twin stares back at me. I lean in closer and look deep into my own eyes. I blink and for a split second my reflection falters, as if it was an image on a screen that glitched. It was barely a second, but I had time to see the glimpse of a blue sky and green leaves.
Curious, I stick out my hand, to touch this strange phenomenon, but instead of touching solid glass my hand melts right through the surface.
