Twenty-four days. That's how long it took me to fall in love. Pretty impressive, since for the first twenty-three days all I had to fall in love with were little presents slipped into my locker. [#81 teen fiction / #1 holidays] NOTE - I wrote this book at 14 so the characters are 15-16 year olds. This is your warning so you don't have to be surprised/disappointed when their ages are mentioned! Thanks!

"Hey Elle," Gavin said in a low tone, wiping the counter clean. "I bet a month's worth of dirty dish duty that you can't turn Scrooge into Santa's head elf in three weeks." Noelle Winters loves Christmas. She loves catching snowflakes on her tongue on snow days, reading by the fireplace with a big cup of hot cocoa. Christmas displays in toy shops and department stores make her happy. She loves how families get together and celebrate during the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas has this jolly, comfortable, warm, cozy, feel to it that makes her want to bury herself in knitted sweaters, light Christmas scented candles and sing Christmas carols in the middle of town square. With the cheery atmosphere in Fairview, who wouldn't join in on the holiday festivities? Oliver Hastings. He hates Christmas. Loathes it. He hates how bright the lights are and how everything in town seems so whimsical and enchanted. It all makes him want to puke. He claims that celebrating the holidays are useless and a waste of his time. So what happens when Elle's boss hires Oliver to work at Gingersnaps? A nuclear explosion of candy canes and sugar plums, that's what. She knows that no one's supposed to be unhappy on Christmas. Not even the grumpy Christmas hater named Oliver. With the help of her best friend Carol, she writes a list of things to try and get Oliver in the spirit. She's determined to show him what he's missed out on so far like; "Go ice skating", "Have a snowball fight", and "Sing Christmas Carols". She has 22 days and she's up for the challenge. last tracked achievements: humor #18 [28/12/14] teen fic #69 [15/12/14]

"Anna dislikes being stuck three-quarters of the way down a chimney. She really does. Not to mention, she's still going round North America, and there's, like, three continents still to get through in about as many hours."

Estelle Richards' parents don't celebrate Christmas. She doesn't feel like she's missing out on anything - she's just used to it by now. After a tragedy convinced her to follow her parents to New York about a year and a half ago, she's spent her previously outgoing life in the quiet. And she likes it. She likes it a lot. Noel Pearson is only tolerable on the subject of two things: his younger sister and Christmas. Since the latter is rushing up to meet them, he's determined to put on his brightest smile. But when he hears that there's a freshman girl who has never had a Christmas in her entire life, he decides that she's his next challenge. There's just one problem: he's got less than a month. Can he really teach Estelle Richards how to love Christmas in just twenty-five days? ▲▼▲▼▲▼▲▼▲ Warning: this is a cute, cliché Christmas story. Read at your own risk! Seven days before Christmas, a snowstorm sweeps across the town of Churchill. Sydney gets snowed in at the Sugar Sweet Café with Dion Gallenger, a friend she's known since high school. According to the forecast, the weather won't be letting up for at least two days. So the two are stuck at the café for forty-eight hours. Alone. And that's only the beginning. Over the the next week, a lot is about to go down for the pair (such as flaming Christmas trees, inhumanly large and lopsided gingerbread houses and... Rudolph appearing at the front door?). Is this a good time to mention the three-year crush Sydney's been harbouring on Dion? No? Well toss that into the mix too. It's about to be the wildest Christmas season Sydney and Dion have ever experienced.

This Christmas was definitely NOT what Estelle had in mind. Working hard to earn money and fly back home to her family for the holidays, she goes through many not-so-jolly things this year. At the brink of flying back, a huge snow storm arrives canceling her wishes leading her to lose herself beyond the streets of New York. She stumbles across a small apartment for rent owned by a boy who took her in. After, they realize they are both trapped in the building together due to the harsh weather forcing them to build a VERY awkward and nutty relationship between each other. This fun short romantic comedy will surely put a smile on your face this holiday season!
