Music is Claire's dream, but it seems like the universe is telling her to quit. And now with her dad's diagnosis of Alzheimer's, it's becoming harder to keep her promise to him- to pursue her dream with everything she has. Just as she decides to give it up for good, she gets one more chance to make it big- but it requires rebuilding some tense relationships from her past. And, of course, it's not as easy as just playing friends again. Casanova, the city's notorious graffiti artist, hasn't had any new ideas for the last year. He's been stuck, unsure if he'd ever paint again. But as he's finally coaxed back out of hiding to do what he's best at once again, he's met with opposition from not only the mayor who is hell-bent on ridding the city of graffiti, but other artists as well. But where you have Hunter and Andy, you also have hours worth of arguments, bets and accidental detours. Not to mention the oh-so helpful advice from their dance troop and friends. This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.
