There is a small town out in the middle of nowhere, with two steep cliffs on either side, a path leading to another town and a forest opposite the path. The forest is lovely and lively, with beautiful clearings and babbling brooks. But there are dangerous creatures in the forest, creatures that have terrorized the village for centuries. These creatures are dragons, and they are said to be merciless to anyone who intrudes in their forest. To keep the dragons at bay, every year the village gathers up girls ranging from ages 16 to 18 and picks the names of 4 girls to be sent into the forest to be the dragons' mates. This story take place when dragons are still exist. And here, dragon rule the world. They're free to eat any human they want. But being kind the king is, he offered then an offer. The king will give them 4 human every week. The dragon agreed to it, think that they wouldn't fly to find human anymore. And so, every week the king will choose 4 prisoner to give it to the dragon.

When Natsu Dragneel found a portal in the forests outside his little cottage, he decided to go in. He didn't know that he would meet such interesting people as there was the keeper of knowledge, the creator of mortality, the scarlet knight, the lord of wishes true, the lady of light or the duke of darkness.
