Plagued by nightmares that have been occurring since her sixteenth birthday, Serenity has become use to the constant loss of sleep and fear that comes every time she closes her eyes. Her father died when she was young and now she is traveling back to his home town so that her mother can take care of Rebecca, her Aunt's daughter from her father's side of the family.
