Why did you write MaddAddam, I’m sometimes asked?

A unique blend of Greek, Roman, Japanese and Korean mythologies with a pinch of imagination, creating a fantastical world which is more extravagant than the real world but subtly mirrors today's society. The main conflict is between the powerful gods and two supernatural beings... the crow demon and the gumiho/kitsune.

This isn't a really good description but all well. Sakura is a 15 year old female ninja in Japan. She is sent on her first mission to accompany a spoiled young prince back to his kingdom. After being kidnapped by demons who want to use the prince to make the Emperor submit to them. It's up to Sakura and her blade to save them and the Empire.
