It has been two years since the Battle of Hogwarts, and even though He How mustn't be named has vanished, evil is still around. Harry and Ron have left Hogwarts, seeking for bigger and better opportunities in the world out there, while Hermione is still following her studies in the magic school for witches and wizardry. As a new year is about to start, Harry learns that something sinister is traveling around Hogwarts and together with Ron and Hermione, they return back to the place that started everything. As they start to understand what is going on, they learn that even though Voldemort is gone, someone has taken over his place. In a battle of magic, good versus evil, and the dark arts, Harry, Ron and Hermione are going to learn the hardest lesson of their lives. Ending is just the beginning.

"The last one standing goes free." Even as a child, Austin had never stayed in one place for very long, never had anywhere that felt like home. When he inherits a large, remote house from an aloof uncle, Austin is aware he could sell it and use the money to pay his other relatives' massive debts. Before he does that, though, he has plans; after a lifetime of sleeping in trailers, apartments and his own car, Austin wants to spend one night in an actual house. When he first arrives, the experience is everything he'd hoped it to be, but at midnight, everything changes; at midnight, two desperate men barge through his door, fleeing for their lives. Just outside the Colonial house lurks a demonic entity. This being, hungry for bloodsport, will allow one of the trapped men to leave...as long as he fights the others to the death...an offer that is unacceptable to Austin. His uncle's home now a fort under siege, Austin fights to outwit the creature and get everyone out alive, but his two 'guests' may not be as hesitant as he is to take human lives.

In the near future, humankind has mastered the arts of peace, tolerance, and acceptance. At least, that's what we claim. But then they arrive. Aliens--the last of a dead race. Suffering culture shock of the worst kind, they must take refuge on a world they cannot understand; one which cannot comprehend the scope of their loss. Taciturn Gwen Pierson and super-geek Basil Grey are Specialists for the Institute--an organization set up to help alien integration into our societies. They take in Kalp, a widower who escaped his dying world with nothing but his own life and the unfinished toy he was making for a child that will never be born. But on the aliens' world, family units come in threes, and when Kalp turns to them for comfort, they unintentionally, but happily, find themselves Kalp's lovers. And then aliens--and the Specialists who have been most accepting of them--start dying, picked off by assassins. The people of Earth, it seems, are not quite as tolerant as they proclaim.

Somehow her father thinks a birthday betrothal is a good idea. (Spoiler alert: it isn't.) Obviously Lahalla isn't going to let this stand, but she's not sure how she'll convince her father to call it off...wait, what's that shape in the water? Mermaids don't exist outside of folklore......

The Eighth Doctor is summoned back to Gallifrey as tensions between the Time Lords and the Dalek Empire come to a head. What will the Doctor do as the universe is consumed by war? Covers the Time War, from right before it breaks out until the Eighth Doctor regenerates. (There is a part 2 with the War Doctor) Intended to do the Time War justice to what it was described and implied to be, which "The Day of the Doctor" and "Engines of War" fell short of. Please read and review! Constructive criticism and suggestions appreciated, but no flames please!
