I come barreling into the hospital, nearly taking out a nurse. "Well someone's in a rush. What are you here for?" She questions me. "What room is Scarlet O'Dare in?" I beg. She gives me a grave look and looks down. "Follow me, Sir." She turned and walked towards the back. I stay on her heels all the way to ICU. My heart pounds in my chest. When I found out what happened, I left right away to see her. I needed to tell her how much I loved her. We stop walking and the nurse turns to me. "This is her room. I'm so sorry," she whispers so quietly I almost don't hear her. She walks away as I brace myself to open the door. I turn the handle and open the door to see Scarlet just laying there. I stand there, tears going down my face. There she is, but she looks so much smaller. Wires and pumps connected to her are all that's keeping her alive. Bandages are on her forearms covering them completely, but I know what's underneath. Cuts and scars. New ones and old ones. I know. A/N: All the characters are my own.
