Castiel Novak is a drama dork. Well that what his friends say that they are. He's been in almost all the schools plays. And he of course is on tech. Dramas his bread and butter, it's what he could go to college for. Get a job from. Dean Winchester has decided to fit in. Join the football team, and he's not bad at it. He's just bad at life. Dean and a couple boys from the team get drunk one night and trash the drama department. The one who gets blamed... Dean. Now Dean has to help the tech crew rebuild and he has to join to the cast as punishment. Will he enjoy it more than he thought? And will Cas find something to think jocks aren't just jerks?

I was asked to kill. This is my job. I kill people for a living. I see people's life run out of their eyes for millions of dollars. The very source of themselves dripping away into Hell. I enjoy the pay, yes. I have cash in the bank and food on the table and thats what counts. It's what I do. I kill. A little bit about me? I'm a Delora Nettles. I've been dead for seven years now. I was brutally murdered on a cold November night with nothing more than a knife and cold heart. No, I am not actually dead but rather faking my death. It's just easier for the job to be done without anybody scratching at my records. I have many names, Abigail, Chloe, Rene... You get the point. Nobody can really make sense of who I am anymore, heck along the journey I've been slowly losing myself to the demon inside. We all have that naughty creature crawling up and down our spines, I just can't shake it off. It seems that everytime somebody puts a blade in my hand, that very demon stirs. Castiel Novak is the most popular boy at school. He has tons of money, a sweet car, and is a star football player. Dean is an artist who is known by few at his old school and even fewer when he moves to Mount Vernon, Iowa. Both think they know themselves, but do they really?

As a cut off angel, it's hard to blend in with the normal crowd. However, Castiel is doing quite fine, outliving everyone else as a simple cashier at the local Gas 'n Sip. Sure, he may never understand humans, but it's a privilege to watch them go about their simple lives, while never progressing in his own. He just has no desire to; seeing that he hasn't found anyone worth falling - literally and metaphorically - for. Until. --- Just a fic inspired by a fanvideo. I don't own SPN, of course. The video nor cover art I didn't make, but the plot is entirely mine, only lightly guided by the destiel trailer "The Fall."
