You struggle to put on a play everyday and it starts to cost you more and more. That is why you fall even deeper and that's you when you start to back away from friends and family. Sometimes completely, shutting them out. As if pain does not exist unless your bleeding or slung in a cast or staggering with a limp. But sometimes the most painful demons are the ones they can't even see. So we learn how to grin and bear it. You get used to putting on a social mask and you continue to live among other people. Though whether we like it or not, emotion makes us human. It completed us. And I'm glad be showed me how to feel again.
