She worked and studied to get a scholarship to college and did. Her parents were killed by a burglar while she was being watched by her paternal grandparents. She was taught how to survive in the world by her grandparents, including shooting and hand to hand combat and any other self defense. Both grandparents were ex military. Christian Grey was a hot shot businessman and a playboy. He had plenty of women at his beck and call. In this story there is no BDSM or Elena. Just typical life with his family. he had a normal life with his real parents and siblings Grace and Carrick Grey. Elliott is 25, Christian is 23 and Mia is 18. Mia graduated from high school as well. She went to school with Ana but they never met or hung out with one another. Mia had a lot of female friends that had one thing on their minds sex with her brothers. She dumped them when she found out they were using her to meet her brothers. In this story all the grandparents have passed away on both sides for both families. Elliott owns his own architecture and construction firm. Christian owns GEH Global. Mia organizes events part time for her family. Grace Is a surgeon At Seattle Community Hospital, Carrick is a leading attorney at his own firm with 40 associates working for him. No partners in his firm, but they make enough they don't want the responsibility of being a partner.
