They told me that I was not dating him, not anymore - it was an illusion. But, how do they expect me to believe? Totoo siya. Totoo na mayroong kami ngayon. He was my study partner in eighth grade. Ayoko pa nga sa kanya 'nung mga panahong 'yun - gangster, bad boy, asshole, fuckboy - he was basically a dirt in our campus. "So, sa'n tayo mag-aaral?" He was the first to approach me. Gusto ko na lang sanang mag-aral mag-isa at ayaw nang abalahin pa ang mga sarili namin. Why would we bother studying together? He would probably cut during the exam. "Free ka? Wala kang pupuntahang-" I squinched my eyes at him "-away?" Ngumisi lang siya. "Actually, I have. Mas importante ka nga lang." He was flirting with me and I hated that he wasn't even ashamed of it. Napairap ako. "Sa library. At mag-aaral tayo, hindi maglalandian!" "Oh, love . . . are you suggesting?" I shuddered at how he easily called me 'love' but that was how we started.
