Prologue It is time. It has been twenty five years of knowledge and some type of abuse. I have gone through abuse as an adult and as a child. This book is meant to help the entire human population (men and women alike) overcome abuse and move on with their life. The abuse will control you as long as you have a victim mentality. If you where abused as a child most likely, you will marry someone or be in a relationship with someone who will continue the same pattern because it is all you know. The same thing applies to anyone who has been in an abusive relationship before. Once you are abused your self esteem and self confidence gets really low and you never get out of the cycle because it becomes your life, all you know. This book is about my abuse during my first marriage and how I overcame it. It will also tell you how you can overcome abuse weather you are living it or trying to overcome it. The abuse cycle started for me at the age of two when my mother left me and I become a ward of the state. I married an abusive man because I did not know the signs and difference. Hopefully, this book will help someone else get out of an abusive situation and stay out. It is important to know no matter what you are going through you are not alone. It is not your fault.
