In a rare moment of alliance between two conquering forces, Darkseid, ruler of Apokolips, and Argall, sovereign of the Viltrum Empire, entered a secret pact. Each sought to create something greater than themselves - a living weapon, a god-king bred for universal domination. From the Omega Genome of Darkseid and the pure Viltrumite essence of Argall, Silas was born - not by accident, but as the firstborn of a new age of empire. Not grown in some rogue lab, but in the Genesis Cradle, a sacred forge buried in the core of a dead neutron star - where only the strongest energies could shape a being like him. He was not raised. He was programmed: loyalty, control, domination. He was taught to believe in only one law: "Strength determines destiny." Yet beneath his stone-bred skin, two legacies war within him - the brutal discipline of Argall and the chilling, all-consuming will of Darkseid. When Silas was unleashed in battle drills against Viltrumite war captains, he won. Every time. When tested with Omega energy foci, he adapted. Too quickly. Too perfect. The elders grew uneasy. He wasn't just a soldier. He was becoming a ruler. Fearing his rise, the Viltrumite High Council ordered him placed in suspended animation, claiming he had not yet matured - but it was fear, not strategy. Now, in a time of rebellion and Viltrumite instability, Silas awakens. He remembers everything. And now, for the first time, he has a choice. Is he the son of Argall? The heir to Viltrumite conquest? Or is he something worse - Darkseid's will given breath? #1 in Invincible 6/12/25

The gods sense something unnatural. Lurking in the shadows are those who would kill to control- or destroy-what Bell has become. Now, Bell must navigate a world that was never meant for someone like him. Will he rise as the hero he always dreamed of, or will his power drag him down a path from which there is no return? Long ago, before borders carved the land into pieces, the world was whole. One kingdom. One people. And among them, there was a man-no, a legend. To his people, he was more than flesh and bone. They saw him as something divine, not because he claimed it, but because his heart was so pure, his purpose so unwavering. A warrior of light, driven not by glory but by the good of all. No one dared question the title that clung to him like armor. Not even the only man he'd ever call his equal-his best friend. The King of the World. Together, they weren't just rulers. They were guides, protectors... symbols of hope. Under their watch, humanity came close-so close-to achieving true peace. A peace that didn't feel like a dream, but a promise being kept. But, as with all stories born in light, darkness waits patiently in the wings. It came quietly at first, like a whisper behind the curtains. Then it roared. And when it did, it didn't just challenge the good in the world-it consumed it. Swallowed it whole, as if to prove that balance must always come at a cost. And just like that, the age of harmony ended. What remained was a curse. A wound stitched into the fabric of the world, waiting... hoping... that one day, someone brave enough, pure enough, might break it.
