My name is Melody Higgins. Where have you heard that name before, you might be asking? Well my dad is Paul Higgins, bodyguard and manager of the world wide, top of the charts boyband One Direction. People think I'm so lucky to have connections to One Direction but in reality I've never even met them. But that'll all change very soon and my life will be turned upside down. I'm the other side of Niall Horan. Yes, THE Niall James Horan from One Direction. Maybe you've heard of them? They're only the biggest boyband in the world. If you don't know them, just turn on you're local radio stations or Google them; they're pretty much everywhere. Unlike other people, who claim they were his best friend before fame, (AKA: The whole school) I just kinda hang back and laugh. It's not like we were best friends, we just lived next door to eachother. So, of anything, we were like brother and sister. Birthdays, Holidays, snowdays, you name it, the Carters and the Horan's spent it together. Not to mention one of the Horan's (either Niall or Greg) were always at our house, or the other way around. But that was all when we were little. Now, with his music career, the This Is Us movie, and the considerable, constantly changing time differences, it almost makes it impossible to stay in touch. We talk, maybe two or three times a month, via Twitter, texting, even Facebook messaging. It does hurt not to have him anymore, but it never stops me from closing my eyes, and remembering the times where I WAS the other side of Niall Horan.
