Harry Potter fanfic! This story takes place after the first Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them when Newt is on the ferry back to Britain. Lily-Jane has had many experiences within the wizarding universe but nothing prepared her for the encounter with Newt. Desperate to find out why she was different from her parents, why she was such a disappointment, Newt helps her to trace back to her relatives while learning more and more about this mysterious girl. When he runs into trouble with Grindelwald, Lily-Jane is there to help. --- I have always loved Harry Potter but recently I rewatched and reread them and fell for them even more. This story does work within the timeline of the characters with the one exception of Ollivander and his family. Now I know the basis of the wizarding world but I know there will be mistakes and flaws with the story so please point them out so I can change them to suit. You may notice me referring to characters that take place in the current time rather than 1926 but that will be explained so don't give up on it yet!
