"Before I show you who I am, I want you to remember what you're fighting for," Aide replied cautiously and gave them all a piercing stare. "Keep an open mind." "Just tell us, lad," Hanke snarled impatiently and bobbed his sword. "Brace yourselves," Aide said as he slowly reached for his hood. Emaia's heart pounded vigorously in her chest, so loudly, she feared people could hear. This was it. She would finally see the face of her rescuer, the face she had so longed to see. Aide gave them all one last lingering look before he closed his eyes. "Your whole world is about to change." He punctuated his sentence by pulling off his hood. The entire crowd gasped and all readied their weapons, as long silver hair burst free from the cloak and long slender ears appeared. It was impossible, Emaia thought. They had been extinct for decades. But there was no denying it. She looked at the man who had rescued her a few nights ago, and remembered him as charming and valiant. It all made so much sense now-why he could do, what he could do. He was an elf. And not just any elf. - A Northern Elf.

[Completed] Elysia's life is turned upside-down when she's abducted by supernatural creatures with demonic eyes and threatening fangs. What's worse is she has no idea what it is they want from her, except that it has something to do with a side of her that she's never known. The chances of Elysia getting out alive are slim, but perhaps with a bit of luck and a lot of bravery she can escape with more than just her life. Excerpt: ''What trick is this?'' The creature asked, but it didn't sound like a vicious question. He sounded... confused. When I didn't answer, he appeared in front of me, snatching my face in his hand once more and growling. ''What is that on your back?'' ''I don't know,'' I blindly answered, but corrected myself quickly when his grip tightened dangerously, ''It's a birth mark, the doctors called it a... a Lichtenberg figure. My mother said I was born with it, I swear it, even though it's usually what happens when you survive being struck-'' ''-by lightning.'' No one expected that it would happen until it did. Earth was dying. We, the few who survived the disease, were all contained in cells with artificial light and oxygen and food in the form of pills. So when help came in the form of C'Riel, an alien race that lived in a planet called Xe'Krein, many people found hope. But I was wary. Why would the C'Riel help us? How did we benefit them? What I didn't expect to happen was meeting him. The fire-eyed alien. My alien. And then I found out, that sometimes answers to the questions we want to know are sick and leave you wondering if everything was a lie.

*Featured Wattpad Story* ❝As they say, opposites attract.❞ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ Daniel Mormon is the luckiest person alive. Without even trying, he gets girls, grades, and attention everywhere he goes. Nothing seems to touch him, and it doesn't seem like anything bad is about to happen to him anytime too soon. Harriet Benchman is, to put it nicely, miserable. Her mom and dad despise eachother, she has no friends, and her grades are as good as popcorn and ketchup put together (bad, you didn't get the analogy). The only thing she attracts is rainy days. They both abhor each other. One is perfect, the other is disastrous. So when they are forced to compete in a dance competition together, the only things that will come out of it will be total annihilation (or so they think), and some sweet moves.
