It's basically the story of Patrick Jane, our favourite Mentalist of all time, falling in love with a complicated 17 years old girl. This story takes place before killing Red John and there is no Jisbon unless wanted. And his daughter survived but his wife is dead. :)

Two years have past since Trish Andrews tried tricking the one and only Patrick Jane. But what will happen when he will be the one needing her help to catch Red John once and for all?
