"10,000 dollars for my arrest. That's what the media says, anyway." He calls her Rusty. She calls him Blue. But Anna Blake is hiding more behind her nickname than anyone knows. She's wanted by the police. For murder. Specifically, the murder of her parents. And she has bigger issues to worry about. She's also on the run from the man who really killed them. A man who has a game to play before he kills her, too. A reckless, on-the-edge criminal. A winsome, small town boy who has a traumatic past of his own. A thrilling chase that changes both of their lives. They are both lost in their own ways, but together maybe they can stand strong again. But secrets have a way of getting out, and the truth is enough to drown her. SEQUEL TO STAY CLOSE All I wanted was her. I just wanted to be with her, to be able to always see her or talk to her. But then, the man I hated most in the world took her from me and then had the audacity to die. I would find her. I didn't know if she was alive, but I would find her. Maybe meeting a partner in crime could help, if said partner was as sketchy as Walsh before my maybe-dead girlfriend murdered him. ~ This will definitely make absolutely no sense if you did not read Stay Close first. *UNEDITED

COMPLETED "I think you're hiding something," he said accusingly, his voice low and dangerous. "I think you're crazy," I retorted. My heart was beating rapidly. ~ When you lead a life kept to the shadows- metaphorically and physically- it can be hard to make friends. I'm not going to say I was a loser, a complete outcast at my school. In fact, there was no one that I shared a hatred with. My life, which was more or less secretive, was completely shaken when Emmett Dean rocked himself into my world. Completely uninvited, might I add. And all he did was spill his spaghetti on me. ~ Coves are encouraged! Highest Ranking: #14 - 9/27/17 *UNEDITED featured by Teen Fiction

"Wait!" Arabelle sprinted up from the swing. "Declan!" He stopped and turned around to face her. "What were you about to say about Elijah?" Arabelle was burning with curiosity at who this person might be. His green eyes stared into her as a unknown emotion flickered with in them. Hurt? Disappointment? But it didn't matter. As quick as it came, the emotion had disappeared. Instead his eyes turned cold, unfamiliar. "Forget it, it's nothing." He turned around and began to walk again but Arabelle stopped him again, this time out of desperation. She had to know how he knew about Blake. "How did you know about Blake then? I never mentioned him," she questioned Declan as she looked intently at his face, to make sure that he was telling her the truth. "Noah mentioned how you kept mumbling his name under your breath during class. Something about how he reminded you of Blake." His face was blank. She knew there was more that he wasn't telling her. "Bu-" "Listen Elle I'm sorry, but it's late and I really have to go," he gave me a pained smile, "I'll see you tomorrow okay?" She watched Declan as he walked out of the park and until he disappeared out of her sight. Arabelle wasn't stupid. Okay, maybe sometimes she was, but she knew that he was lying and she was determined to find out the truth. Please give this story a chance and tell me what you think!
