Elsa was having troubles with her powers and this made her parents worried. She was always home schooled while her sister went to school. Then one day they met pabbie, a sorcerer who gave Elsa an amulet that whenever she lost control of her power that person would appear and help her control it. Two years had past and she never had any problems with it. Until one day when she finally lost control of it and he appeared. He was an irritating jerk and she was the only one that could see him which made her look like she was crazy whenever she talked to him. He always ruined her dates and made her angry. But deep down he didn't want to go back. He wanted to stay with her.

When jack moves down to new York he is worried about how he was going to fit in. He was the popular boy in his former school and now in this new school, he wants to also be number 1. Elsa, the daughter of one of the wealthiest owner in new York. She is popular but as cold as ice. She meets jack and hates him at first sight. Jack on the other hand is awed at how Elsa was able to be herself and still be popular. He decides to win her heart at all costs. ...even if it meant losing his. The game is on.
