Caught between fear and curiosity, the truth-teller's apprentice finds himself stuck between two versions of the Clan's history - two truths where there should only be one. Spock oc story. Need I say more?! It's Katherina Whitlock's 1st year at Star Fleet Academy, the prestigious university for aspiring minds. Secrets will be revealed, friends will be made, and Kathy will find love on the way, in a way she did not expect. Will the walls she built around her stay strong, all will they come tumbling down? I'm horrible at summaries, and this is my first proper story, so please bare with me!

The world is cruel, dark and foreboding. There is no one she can trust, no one she can rely on except the people that locked her up. Daniella is a mutant that has been chained up in a laboratory in Germany, and sees no plausible way to escape. In her imprisonment, she learns of a school for people like her in America. She knows that to finally be ridden of her captors, she must escape and find the school. It's a do or die situation, and the odds are stacked up against her. Will she be able to escape? Or will she be locked up in chains for the rest of her life by trying?

On top of this, Leanna is thrown into a complicated life that is plagued with secrets organizations, the mysterious deaths of famous Starfleet's finest officers, and one very powerful family and their vengeful father.
