Avery Nixon has one mission; kill the monster who shaped her, and then tore her down piece by piece. That is, until a fateful encounter threatens to set her off-course. Now, hunted and pursued by a Lykan willing to follow her to Hel, and then through it; Avery has never been set so far from finalizing her mission--and has never been so close to achieving it. Avery finds herself out of her depth when her quest buries her so deep in to the Lore community that her every act can resonate with devastating effects; and in a post-apocalyptic world, that is the last thing the Lorekind need. Or has the Apocalypse only just begun? With a few Lorekind pantheons following her every move, the Lore Council seeking to destroy her momentum in the world and a tiny Faerie person screaming insults in her ear at every turn as she hunts the oppressing evil looming over them; Avery grudgingly welcomes the Lykan male to follow her to Hel; because he may be the only one who can bring her back.

"His breath hitched in the back of his throat as chocolate eyes looked over the still dripping photos that were about ready to be hung to dry in his dark room. He could feel the hairs on the back of his neck rise and goose-bumps form on his sun-kissed skin. The once serene landscape is now tainted, the whole purpose of the pictures now ruined by the slightly blurred outline of a man stood somewhere in each one. He shivered as if someone had poured ice-cold water down his spine. His brow furrowed as he tried recalling the scene upon which the shot had been taken. Not once had Brian remembered there being a man." (I do not own Matthew Sanders or Brian Haner Jr. But I own the plot. This contains scenes of explicit nature and themes which aren't for everyone. If you're uncomfortable, do not read.)
