Cracked Wood is bought allowing yourself to be abused physically and mentally and not realize it. She loves Liam so profoundly she doesn't know how to walk away without losing herself. She is trapped in a relationship that she thought was once the happiest years of her life. She is forced to face the reality of her failed relationship regardless of the years and time spent. She assumed if she did all these wonderful things after Liam faced his trauma that he would love her and want to be closer but all it did was pull them farther apart.

Honestly, I wrote this on a whim and I can't even explain it to myself since it was unintentional. But I guess it about knowing your limitations. It's about knowing when to walk away from a toxic relationship, knowing that not everyone experiences the sunny side of love. Love has several different definitions to everyone and unfortunately, not all of us gets to experience the love we deserve or what we think we deserve due to pass failed or successful relationships with family or with a significant other.
