Kara Winston, a fifteen year old high-school student who lives in false realities rather than real life. Her father, Henry, is worried for her inability to accept things the way they are, but when reality becomes fantasy and Kara grows wings sprouting from her back, she manages to convince her father that sometimes reality isn't all it seems to be.
