Scarlet Hart, a sixteen-year-old girl, has lived in the same small town her whole life. Nothing exciting ever happens and no one has ever noticed Scarlet. She likes being a nerd and she's content with being invisible, except for her daily beating and bullying from kids at school. Everything that she's used to, is going to change once a new family moves into the small town for an unknown reason. Their seventeen-year-old son, along with his older sister, befriend the beautiful, invisible girl and things take an unexpected turn when the nobody an the new "bad emo boy" begin to fall in love, also falling deeper into the mysteries they begin to uncover.
