The Military of Foedusum has only grown in strength after the invasion that happened one century ago. As they plan for the final stages of their attack, they develop a prototype of the technology that was supposed to ensure their victory: Project Helion. Its inter-dimensional travel capabilities, while dangerous on its own, becomes more unpredictable once it is stolen by Soké Ékos, a soldier who unexpectedly wakes up from his cryogenic slumber. In a flash, he is gone with the prototype, and the Military turns to one of their best to find the prototype and kill him under charges of treason: Aviromia Ayter, the Soul of Ice, a daring pilot... and Soké's best friend. Avi, with the help of her friend and fellow Soul Cerise Tandem, as well as Soké's girlfriend June Voler, must embark on a manhunt across dimensions in order to recover what they need to win the war of vengeance. Yet, the more time they spend searching, the more time they have to wonder what it's all for, whether the sacrifices being made are justified. Meanwhile, speculation of who their attackers that fateful day rise, claiming it to be a planet known as Vicula, and they apparently have the means of striking again. With the clock ticking, it's only a matter of time until they make their final choice on who to align with. As tension builds, and true colours bleed out, can they truly trust not only each other, but themselves, and the cause they're supposedly fighting for?

This is a Fanfiction for Lyndis' adventure in Fire Emblem: Rekka No Ken (Blazing Sword.) It is the seventh installment for the strategic RPG's gaming franchise, but the first to be released in the U.S. The story is told from the third-person point of view of Alykis-the tactician who helps Lyn and her army of mercenaries along in the story. Alykis' past is a big part to some added events, but most of the story is based off real-dialogue spoken in the game, and the rest is from my own creativity towards bringing people together.
