I asked you if you love me. You widened the space between your thumb and your index finger, saying, "this much" And then I asked you if you love her. Your silence made me realize that both hands weren't long enough Completed.

A piece of soul in ink, and unto the paper it spilled. A collection of thoughts that rhyme from a wandering mind.

I want to believe that there's more than love-that this is not just love. I want to believe that maybe we could work this out. If it's possible, for your heart to still reach out for mine. Maybe it's long gone, but I reckon that it's fine to try as long as I know I'm building the future half of me.
