The choice of Beregond, Captain of the Third Company of the White Tower, is much overlooked. His judgment is the King Elessar's first ruling of many. In the dark days of the Siege of Gondor, Beregond must endure a war of his own, between head and heart. With the Lord Faramir injured and the Lord Denethor consumed by madness and grief, Beregond must choose whom to obey and whom to turn away from. With the armies of Sauron encroaching on the Pelennor, he doesn't have much time. Here lies the record of days leading up to the choice of the Tower Guard during the Siege of Gondor, in the last days of the War of the Ring.

A guide of Elvish for those who are curious. From the website I got this from: Mellonamin, Below you will find simple grammatical rules and word lists for use in creating elven phrases. Much effort has been put into making the process as simple as possible. A section on elven roleplay may also be found after the word list. The Grey Company's Elven is a growing language based 'loosely' on the elven found throughout JRR Tolkiens works. As we strive to nurture its growth, all input is encouraged and appreciated. This dictionary and accompanying phrase guide represent uncountable hours of work by the members of the Grey Company. Permission is given to distribute this dictionary for role-playing purposes as long as the entire dictionary, including the credits for those who did the work, is kept intact. In other words, don't pretend you made it when you pass it out. If you add your own words and phrases, please inform a member of the Grey Company so we can see to it that the new words are added, you'll be given credit for it.

" Can you hear me running, Can you hear me calling you? " His eyes were wide, as he watched Isildur hesitated. The One Ring glowed in his hand, that was not brave enough to let go and let it be destroyed. All these years, all these battles, all for nothing? He remembered the death of his King, Gil-Galad. And of Thranduil's dear father, Oropher. Every thing, every one they lost.. So with that thought, the Lord of Imladris pushed the King of the Dunedáin of the cliff. He watched with blank eyes as the man's eyes widened, as he along with the Ring fell into the pit of Mount Doom. Destroyed. If he knew that would meant to be the beginning of another battle, Elrond would not dare to do so. He would never kill Isildur. ---- [ WARNING ] Violence. Blood. Maybe triggering stuffs. Idk I'm trying to be as mild as I can. Excuse my two a.m. idea that just would not leave me alone. So this is a what if AU that the One Ring was destroyed BUT in the process killed Isildur too and the men blamed the elves so whoop war. There will be lots of elements from both The LOTR and The Hobbit and The Silm, and I tweaked in few cultures and time differences and all the things that would happen differently due to this AU. Eru help me that I can actually remember all those lores.. Oh yeah, there will be canon characters and few ocs. They are all vital to this story so I won't be just using them as random characters to just pop in. Enjoy reading!

Aragorn grows very found of his new home, even if he was adopted by an ELf and never got to see anybody but Elves. Although, life is not always easy and there are many bumps in the road for Aragorn as he grows. To the torturous teasing of the Elflings to the murderous Orcs that are hunting Aragorn down. Join Aragorn on his remarkable adventure through him growing up in Rivendell. (Plus a little before and after!) I do not own any of the places or names (besides the names that i made up). Tolkien has full credit to my idea of writing this fun story. Also, all the history is also Tolkien's work and i dearly appreciate him. Thank you Tolkien for giving humans the opportunity to read The Lord of the Rings and having it have such a big impact on many lives. Enjoy! :D

Allow if you will, a humble scribe to chronicle the lives of the warriors of The Company, Captain Legolas' elite patrol, for such courage deserves to be recorded. Even the deceased will be remembered, captured upon parchment in both word and paint along with the living, for are they not still with us? Join me then, if you will, and perhaps you will leave your own, kind words for posterity.

Forty years have gone by since the beginning of the Fourth Age. The time of peace is falling away as Orcs are attacking villages in Eryn Lasgalen and Gondor, killing aimlessly. Legolas receives a strange letter from Aragorn asking him to meet in Imladris. But something happens on the road and Legolas and his captain, Thaladir, discover something disturbing about the new enemy. Something that could take them, Aragorn, and others as far as the Mines of Moria. Please Note: This is an older work of mine and while I still love it dearly, the writing isn't the best, and it is slightly AU because I didn't know Tolkien lore when I started it. So please don't judge my writing on this fic. «»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«» Disclaimer: I do not own any of Tolkien's characters or places. Legolas is a child of the deep, arcane forest. With the face of a Sinda and the heart of a Silvan, he struggles with the mysteries of his illegitimate past as he strives to fulfil his dream; to become a captain in the king's militia. Son of a Silvan mother he never knew, and an unknown Sindarin father, he finds the family he never had in his childhood friends and fellow warriors. But everything will change one fateful day, when a lieutenant will come to realise who The Silvan really is, a discovery that will lead to the unravelling of the mystery of his own past, one that will forever change the course of history. This is his journey from ignorance to understanding, from fantasy to reality and eventually, to Elven warrior-hood and his own, surprising destiny. ............................................................................................................................................... Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful, but my oh my did this one make me weep like nothing I have ever experienced. Thank you Nimruzir, I am so, so happy I found this tale, it was magnificent. GB12390 ............................................................................................................................................... I had expected a stunning final chapter but you surpassed my expectations! It was the most moving chapter. I had tears in my eyes for most of it and even more so when I read the end notes. It has been a privilege to read this work and review it. Legolas journey into the forest and what he found there is a spectacular culmination of your story. You wrote it so tenderly, so beautifully...I will miss reading the Silvan, but I know I can come back and read it again whenever I miss it too much!
