Hi! This is an alternative to the ending to the original forest fic, Stay In Place, Sing a Chorus. If you're here, I'm assuming you know that the forest fic originally had an incredibly sad ending. It caused me to sob. For four hours. This will begin when Tyler picks up Josh's lighter, alone in the treehouse. At the "///" the scene changes, and that is where my writing begins. "Why don't you hang around people, Tyler?" Josh finally asked. Tyler thought about this. He conversed with his voices. "Why don't you go near people Tyler? Is it because you're a freak?" A single tear dripped out of Tyler's eye, he wiped it away so Josh wouldn't notice. 'I am a freak. I stutter and I cry in public, and I'm weak.' Those words echo through his head. "Because I-I-I'm a fr-fr-freak", Tyler responded. Josh frowned and looked at Tyler. Josh realised that Tyler seemed lonely and outcasted everywhere he went. "You're not a freak", Josh said to Tyler.
