Akabane Karma es un burócrata, uno de los más importantes, y aunque su conducta deja mucho que desear nadie puede negar su gran eficacia e ingenio más los grandes cambios beneficiosos que ha traído al estado. Su trabajo es, según él, jalar las cadenas políticas desde la oscuridad y por culpa de esto se ha hecho con enemigos que lo quieren muerto. Es aquí donde entra un guardaespaldas bastante... único, su relación con Karma será al principio bastante turbia pero no por eso menos interesante... KarmaxNagisa.

"Ngh, K-karma! What are you d-doing?" said the blunette as Karma pinned him against the ground. "N-nagisa. I can't... I can't control it anymore..." Nagisa moaned as Karma grinded his core against him. He tilted his head back so his lover could nip and bite his neck. But, too soon, all became quiet. Nagisa's moans died down. He slowly looked at Karma, and shivered at how close he was. Karma was right by his ear, his breath tickling the sensitive skin as he stayed completely still. The first time he saw it he was four years old, struggling to pry his mother's clawing fingers from their vice-grip on his wrist. He'd screamed and begged while she roared threats into his tear-streaked face, and then his voice choked in his throat when he saw those glimmering eyes lazily observing him from a shadowed corner. A forked tongue flicked out, the color of freshly-spilled blood. Thousands of staring eyes the same color as his. A dark stirring in his belly that made his mother seem less like a horribly invincible monster and more like foolish prey that had wandered too close. The ghost (demon?) disappeared once he'd blinked the stinging tears from his eyes, cringing at the way his mother's nails dug into already-scarred skin. That feeling the thing had sparked, though, insistently remained, quiet but ever-present, preying on the emotions he'd been forcing himself to swallow down ever since his father died. And it only got worse from there.
